BUSINESS TO CONSUMER
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
FOR THE SALE OF IN PERSON OR DIGITAL SERVICES
1. These terms
1.1 These are the terms and conditions on which I supply products to you, whether these are in person services or digital content.
1.2 Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to me. These terms tell you who I am, how I will provide services to you, how you and I may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information. If you think that there is a mistake in these terms, please contact me to discuss.
2. Information about me and how to contact me
2.1 I am Giada Gaslini, trading as School of Shamanism, a sole trader established in Scotland.
My registered office is at Art and Spirituality, 6-8 Alexander Drive, EH11 2RH Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
2.2 You can contact me by telephoning at +447930073303 or by writing to me at info@schoolofshamanism.co.uk
2.3 If I have to contact you I will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or postal address you provided to me in your order.
2.4 When I use the words “writing” or “written” in these terms, this includes emails.
3. My contract with you
3.1 My acceptance of your order will take place after your purchase of the service, at which point a legal contract will come into existence between you and me.
4. My services
4.1 Programme Dates
The full details of “One Year Shamanic Practitioner Training 2027-28” are as follows:
–13-months programme of full non residential or online week-ends 10am-5pm Uk time
Penultimate week-end of the month per 13months
(different dates in December due to Christmas)
break in July and August) 10am-5pm GMT time each day

4.2 In the unlikely event that I am required to change the date of any session, due to an emergency or conditions outside of my control, you will be notified via the contact email address.
If you are unable to attend the sessions live, you can watch the recordings which will be available in the dedicated members area in Thrive Cart Learn.

4.4 Programme Pricing
The cost of the Programme is in GBP(Sterling £)
For international credit cards:conversion rate fees and subscription fees for monthly payments will be applied according to Stripe regulated fees for EURO, USD and AUD as specified: https://stripecalculator.com/
International Stripe fees:
EUROPE: 3.25% + €0.25
AUSTRALIA: 3.5% + $0.30
UNITED STATES: 4.4% + $0.30
Plus: Stripe Currency conversion fee (2%)
Plus: Stripe Subscription fee (0.7%) for monthly payments
Payments according to the value selected GBP, US, EURO:
Non-refundable deposit upon booking
Followed by 12 monthly instalments based on your income level (charged from April 2027)
4.5 Programme delivery
You can choose to attend:
- Online (sessions will be recorded)
- or at the Art and Spirituality Centre: 6-8 Alexander Drive, Edinburgh EH11 2RH
4.6 Programme certificate
As a globally certified IPHM training provider (International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine), this program qualifies you as a Professional Shamanic Practitioner. https://www.iphm.co.uk/ IPHM is the largest leading independent professional accreditation board worldwide, specialising in certifying alternative therapists, practitioners, healers, and training providers who practice holistic and alternative therapies
5. Our responsibilities
5.1 As your Course teacher, my role is to:
• Ensure the course content meets the quality standards agreed.
• Be on time and prepared for each Session.
• Offer support and accountability.
• Help you stretch and focus on the homework and action steps you need to take.
• Answer any questions you may have as they arise.
• Comply with the terms of this Agreement.
5.2 As the Client,it is your responsibility to:
•Give 100% of your effort and fully commit to the programme.
• Ideally to attend all the week-ends, online or in person, but I understand sudden circumstances may occur.
• Catch up with the recording, before attending the following gathering.
• Be open to new ideas and communicate honestly, openly and with integrity.
• Be courteous and respectful to other participants.
• Come to each gathering willing to learn and grow.
• Do the assigned work by the end of the course in order to qualify (there is no formal deadline to send the homeworks and you can join the course at your own pace, but I would recommend to attend as often as possible).
•Comply with the terms of this Agreement and promptly provide payment for the programme.
•Ask any questions you may have as directed.
•Keep any content and discussions confidential.
6.Payments
Payment for the Programme is as set out in Clause 4.4.
I accept payment via Stripe.
I will do all that I reasonably can to ensure that all of the information you give me when paying for the service is secure by using an encrypted secure payment mechanism. However, in the absence of negligence on my part, any failure by me to comply with this contract or my Privacy Policy (see clause 8) or breach by me of my duties under applicable laws, I will not be legally responsible to you for any loss that you may suffer if a third party gains unauthorised access to any information that you give me.
Your credit card or debit card will only be charged when you authorise the payments by clicking proceed through my website.
All payments by credit card or debit card need to be authorised by the relevant card issuer.
If your payment is not received by me within the deadline, I may charge interest on any balance outstanding at the rate of 4% percentage points per year above base rate and your inclusion in the programme will be suspended until your payment is received. I will email you to let you know if I intend to do this.
7. Consumer Protection Rights
7.1 As a consumer, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Nothing in this Agreement will reduce these legal rights.
7. 2 Right to Cancel:
You have the statutory right to cancel within 14 days of booking (the “cooling-off period”). If you exercise this right, you will not receive a refund of the non-refundable deposit as stated in section 4.5, which secures your place in the programme.
As the course is based on a small number of participants to guarantee personalized attention, any cancellations made after the 14-day cooling-off period will still be subject to the full payment of all 12 monthly installments when they become due starting April 2027, even if you choose not to attend the programme.”
8. Privacy Policy Statement
I, Giada Gaslini, am committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of anyone using my site and the confidentiality of any information that you provide me with. The purpose of this statement is to set out how I use any personal information that I may obtain from you.
8.1 Data Protection
I comply with the Data Protection Act 2018, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), and all applicable data protection legislation in Scotland in all my dealings with your personal data.
8.2 Use and collection of personal information
In general you can visit my website without telling me who you are and without revealing any information about yourself. If, however, you use my site you will need to register and you will be asked to provide certain information such as your contact details. I will store this data and hold it on computer or relevant platform.
I may use information that you provide:
·To register you with my website and to administer it.
·For assessment and analysis, e.g. marketing, customer and product analysis, to enable me to review, develop and improve my services.
If you do not want us to use data in this way, or to pass your details on to third parties for marketing purposes, please let me know via e-mail.
I may disclose your personal information to third parties:
If I am under a legal duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with or meet any legal obligation.
9. Ownership and Usage Rights
All content, resources, and materials provided through your participation in the programme remain under my exclusive ownership. These materials are licensed to you for personal use only, on a single-user basis.
You are not permitted to share, reproduce, distribute, or transmit any of the programme materials in any form without my explicit written permission. All creative works, programme content, and associated materials will continue to be my intellectual property, and you do not acquire any ownership rights or other entitlements (regardless of nature) to the digital or physical content or any reproductions there of.
10. Disclaimer
10.1 While considerable care has been taken to accurately represent this course and its capabilities, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results from applying the concepts and methods taught.
Any references to achievements by previous participants in any promotional materials should not be interpreted as a commitment or assurance regarding your own results.
10.2 You recognize that my role is strictly limited to that of a Course Teacher offering development and shamanic training services for business enhancement, inspiration, and informational purposes. My services do not include medical, financial, or legal counsel.
11. Cancellation of Services
I reserve the right to end your access to the Programme immediately if you:
(a) Significantly fail to meet your obligations under this Agreement; or
(b) Do not make required payments when they become due; or
(c) File for bankruptcy or become subject to bankruptcy proceedings or any other financial situation that may prevent you from fulfilling your financial commitments under this Agreement.
Additionally, I may restrict, suspend, and/or terminate our arrangement without refunding fees (whether already paid or still owed) if I reasonably determine that you:
(a) Have become unengaged, disruptive, or are hindering the delivery or experience of the Programme for other participants. The terms “unengaged” and “disruptive” carry their standard dictionary definitions, and examples include, but are not limited to: showing minimal interest, not responding constructively to information requests or other communications, repeatedly ignoring or failing to answer emails or messages, or communicating in an abusive or offensive manner; and/or
(b) Are not complying with any of these Terms or other established guidelines, regardless of whether such non-compliance constitutes a significant breach.
12.Liability
12.1 Nothing in this Agreement shall limit or exclude my liability for:
(a) death or personal injury caused by my negligence;
(b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
(c) any liability which cannot be legally limited or excluded under Scottish law.
12.2 Subject to clause 12.1, my total liability to you under this Agreement is limited to the amount you have actually paid for the Programme up to and including the termination date.
12.3 I am not liable for any indirect, special or consequential losses, including but not limited to:
(a) loss of profits, business or revenue;
(b) loss of anticipated savings;
(c) loss of opportunity or expectation; or
(d) any other losses that were not a foreseeable consequence of my breach of this Agreement.
13. Complete Agreement
This Agreement represents the full understanding between us. Any modifications or amendments must be in writing and signed by both parties. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under this Agreement to any other person. Should any portion of this Agreement be found invalid or unenforceable, it will be separated without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions. Failure to enforce any part of this Agreement shall not be interpreted as a waiver or limitation of the right to later enforce and require strict compliance with every aspect of this Agreement.
14.Resolution of Disagreements
I strive to resolve any issues with you promptly and effectively. If you are dissatisfied with:
- the services provided;
- any other matter, please notify me as soon as possible via e-mail, where I will endeavor to address your concerns.
If we are unable to resolve a dispute, I will:
- inform you that we cannot reach a settlement with you; and
- provide you with legally required information about our alternative dispute resolution options.
Should you wish to pursue legal proceedings, the courts in your region of the United Kingdom will have non-exclusive jurisdiction regarding this contract. This contract will be governed by the laws of Scotland.
By enrolling in the Programme, you accept these terms and conditions and agree to be legally bound by them. Your participation confirms that you have read, understood, and consented to all provisions outlined in this Agreement.
